Oil Lamp with Ash Glaze #2
Oil lamps can be a great addition to lighting in your historically accurate camp. No candles to store or dripping wax to clean up. Traditionally, oil lamps burned tallow or whale oil which may be a bit hard to find. These days we recommend pure paraffin lamp oil and suggest that the wick be kept short for a clean burning light source. For your safety, stay alert when using open flames in your camp and never leave open flames unattended. In my camp, I have oil lamps in place of candles in multiple lanterns. This oil lamp has a soft buttery yellow ash glaze.
This lamp measure approximately 4½ x 3 in. and come to you with a cork and wick as you see in the picture. This is a one of oil lamp.
