This tankard is copied from one excavated from the Hubbard lot, Williamsburg, Va.  (Original height 6 1/4" )  My copies are Approx. 5" tall.

This tankard was imported into the colonies from Nottingham, England during the second half of the 18th century.  Pottery from Nottingham was present in great quantities in the Americas during the 18th century. The original was a chocolate brown color.  I offer this in the traditional brown.
