The noodle bowl shown measures 4" tall by 7' wide .  It is great for salad, soup or a noodle dish, feel free to improvise.   This stoneware bowl is dishwasher safe and  as durable as it is lovely. This ash glaze has a drippy, buttery feel and the rich black is a Japanese glaze called Temmoku.  It's hard to show the beauty and quality of an ash glaze in a photograph,but those who are familiar with them can appreciate their special qualities.
